For Sale
If you are posting an item For Sale please include the following information:
Item / Brand of Item
Size (If it is a kite or board etc)
Year / Model
Location of Item (What State ?)
Price $

All "For Sale" items must have a price.
Topics with "PM Offers" or similar will be removed instantly. If you are selling an item please have an idea of what you would expect to be paid for the item and publish this in your Topic. If you are unsure what the item is worth then do some homework on the product you have then post it For Sale.

Wanted
If you are searching for a particular item, or in search of an item to suit a purpose please be as informative and descriptive as possible. By spending the extra half a minute on your Topic providing more information it increases the likelihood of someone being able to fulfill your request.

eBay
All eBay related Topics that are linked to auctions must include a copy of the item description in the Topic. This helps members browsing to make a decision if they want to view the item or not.

Clearance
Our sponsors may decide to have Clearances of Second Hand or Ex Demo stock. All such posts must be marked as "Clearance." Extreme Kites Site Sponsors are permitted one new topic per month.

Buyers Advice
General Information
Ensure that you have enough information about the seller. How many posts have they made here on Extreme Kites ? Are they well known to other members on this site ? Ensure you have adequate contact details such as House Address, Email Address, Landline Telephone Number and some Identification.

Secure Payment
Try using a secure payment method when completing the transaction such as Paypal.

Insured Delivery
Make sure that your item is insured for delivery and request this of the seller. If an item is lost in transport it often falls on the Buyer's responsibility to have opted to insure the item for transport when seeking a refund for a lost item.


Sellers Advice
General Information

Secure Payment
Make your best efforts to offer a Secure Payment method. This works in your interests as a seller as it makes the sale of your item more appealing to buyers. This also protects you from fraudulent payments. Avoid giving your direct bank details if possible.

Insured & Confirmed Delivery
Confirm the delivery address of the buyer. If they ask you to deliver to another address such as their work / office etc ask to confirm the address and the name of the recipient. Always insure items you are sending. Should an item go missing in transport there is nothing worse then as a seller looking like you attempted to "rip someone off" etc through something that is out of your control. By insuring the item for those extra few dollars it shows that you have best intentions on delivering the item advertised. Offering insured delivery is another aspect that will increase your item's potential sale to a buyer.


Commercial Posting
Commercial posting of items is only permitted to Extreme Kites Site Sponsors.
If you are not a sponsor of Ocean Extreme Sports you are not permitted to make a commercial post advertising your products For Sale. There is no gray area here, if you are caught being deceptive as such your account will be Suspended indefinitely.
