We just received a couple of demo 2010 Waroos to try out before the new ones ship out in a week or so. Here are some shots of the new Waroo 11 meter. You can see the kevlar reinforcements on all of the leading edge seam stitching, and bumpers on the struts. The wingtips are reinforced with ballistics cordura, and feature 3 different attachment points like last year's Waroo to adjust the turning speed. The bridle is fairly short and similar to the 2009 Waroo, with reinforced attachment points on the leading edge. We will have a more detailed review once we get a chance to fly the new kites over the weekend.

That sure looks WAY different than the 2009 Waroos.... I assume it must be pretty darn good, since they completely went away from their "proven" shape...at least, you would hope so...

get that thing out on the water and give us some feedback!

Flew the 11m today in some 7-10 mph winds...just wanted to get a feel for it. Obviously way too light to really know much about it, but was able to self launch it with ease and took a few tacks on my SUP with the kite. Can't really say much other than I was amazed I could even go on the thing in those winds...so, I "THINK" it has pretty good low end... noticed it has a ton of depower with the bar I had it setup on, which I don't care for, but most will probably like that feature...... more to follow when we actually get rideable wind....

Ahh the wingtip dump valve... How many times did I try to pump up a new Flexi for 10 minutes before I realized the valve wasn't shut? Great idea, just don't forget it's there! (what)

I gotta say..... looks pretty similar to the Solo?

However some WAY cooler features added to it. Pretty similar shape though.

How about some feedback on this kite? I need an 11m Waroo ... 2010 or 2009? Very happy with my '08's (7m/9m) but really want to hear how the 2010 compares.

I think it's too recently released with too little wind in FL to have a good review on this kite, as of yet.
Beautiful color scheme on the one in the pic though. (what)

Daryl spent some time on these kites in Hood River when there was actually some wind....give him a call...I'm sure he can give you the run down.

While the wind has been decent in September so far, we have not had any rideable conditions since we received the new 2010 Waroos. The forecast is not looking good. Maybe we jinxed it? El Nino is building in the central Pacific, which is usually bad news for our wind around these parts. But the west coast and panhandle of Florida usually score in El Nino years.
