Well that is kind of cool but I gotta say that I still think resort courses are irresponsible. Would you want anyone who just thought that they could just unhook and drop the kite be anywhere around people in our area? It takes at least an hour to begin to understand safety and access issues that exist on most beaches. That is before even unpacking a kite. I have had many students who took "lessons" that could not tell you what size kite, where to set up or even how to rig the gear. Body dragging down wind has little or no value for kiting or self rescue. I think that any video like this should be prefaced with a disclaimer that says that this is a stunt that should not be attempted and that potential students should get proper instruction with qualified trainers. Think of all the wake boarders or surfers who think they are hot stuff and can put it together in 2 hours because they see this video. Its not too smart and sets people up for problems.
