Resin8 team manager and Hawaiian video guru Freddy Malone has been working with Top Hat and professional Liquid Force team kiter Davey Blair on the North Shore lately putting together some video, and testing the new Tokoro shapes with a kite. Check it out:

Top Hat and Bernie Baker testing out the Resin8 Surfboards strapless at their home break in Oahu, Hawaii. And of course a healthy selection of some of the beach's finest scenery. :-P

Do you have to have a cool hat to ride one of those boards? My hat isn't as cool as those, but I do have a camera on mine..

No hat for me while I ride, but some of the local crew do wear hats while riding to combat rampant hair loss, not mentioning any names. Personally I am growing my hair out so that I don't need a hat > (afro)

Seriously though, if you are looking for a quality high-performance surfboard that you can put straps on, Resin8 boards are near the top of the list. And I have been working with the designers to get inserts in a couple of boards for testing, so we should have our first true Resin8 kite-specific surfboard in the fall.

I've been riding a Resin8 6'3" Squash Tail for over a year and I love it.
Yes I wear a hat when I ride sometimes
