Joe,
Next season?? All year round season here man....was just out yesterday!
I too live in Jax Bch, 11th south, so you'll see me out there all the time with NE/SE/E winds during the week. Feel free to join me. Hugenot is the place to go, but it's just more conveinent to ride offshore Jax during the week. You can ride at Hugenot in any conditions, for sideoffshore/offshore conditions there is a large pond to ride in. Also, if you're comfortable with it, some ride on the ocean with sideoffshore, as nearby the north jetties, the water is shallow with the right tide.
As far as kite size, depends on the season. I'm about 190lbs and during the summer is lightwind days with a 19m. Winter brings westerly winds with gusts to 30 not unusual, anything from a 9 to 15. The next few months, you'll be on that size of kite too. If you're into the bow kites, most of the guys have a 12/16m combo, and that covers 90% of your sessions.
Hope this helps....

Joe,
Sounds like you have the kites, but a shortie wetsuit.....Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!
You definitely want a full suit this time of year, unless you are hardcore. Every day is different in NE Florida. This morning I was on a 13m Yarga Pro perfectly powered. Yesterday after work on an 11m Yarga Pro. This past weekend, on a 12m, and a week ago, I could barely hold down an 8m. In the summer it will be more like 15's to 20's.
See you on the water...

Joe,
Agree with DOS...BRRRRR !!!! Def want to go with at least a 3/2 wetsuit Those 3 kites you got should be perfect for you right now. Come summer time, you may want to go a size bigger, maybe a 19 or so, or a bigger board. Depending on how cold natured you are, you may want to consider some booties, gloves and a hat for the really cold days, depends on how hard core you are! Those days are pretty much gone in another couple of weeks though...
