Yo, on Sunday morning I busted out my new Gaastra Vision 118 that I got off of
http://www.kiteoutlet.com and decided to see if the board was as fast as D claimed. Everyone else in Tampa slept in so I had the whole Skyway to myself. I tacked out and lined up the glass just inside of a sandbar running perpendicular to the wind. It was time to throw down with some mad speed!
I kept my powered 12m kite moving on the pulley bar until I was hauling ass and throwing a 10 foot tall rooster off of the back of the board. I was going so fast that I couldn't even hear myself screaming. All the sea life in the area fled the scene as I tore through the water like a fat guy cutting through the line at the Golden Corral buffet. Notwithstanding, the board still wanted more!
Then, when I was going about 100 mph, I dug the nose of the board into a tiny piece of chop and caught an edge. What does the water say to the face? SLAP! I had so much apparent wind speed that is still took me forever to stop as I got dragged underwater like a demented, bald Aquaman.
D, you were right. This board is sick!
