Hey,

I need to replace a 16m bow kite that blew up on me a few weeks ago and I need some advice. I am 230lbs and ride off the GA and Florida coast. I have a 2007 17m Waroo and a 12meter (another brand). I am wanting to purchase two kites one as my main, light to medium wind and one for 25mph plus. I am thinking about the Waroo 15 2009. What about the 2009 nemi 14? What about the 2010 kites should I wait for the next BEST thing?

What ideas for 25 mph plus?

I want good depower as I am recovering from broken ankle and herniated disc.

Any help would be appreciated.

What board(s) are you riding? Makes a big difference into what size kites you can get away with..

But, between the Waroo and the HP...15m Waroo over the 14m Nemesis HP for sure...

Hey,

I have a SS SX 151, Spleen 59 Door, and 6' Neptune POW Surf Board.

One other question: Will a 2007 best bar work with the 2009 kites?

Thanks,

that bar will work with the new kites...as long as all 4 lines are equal, it will work...

Still think the 15m Waroo is the call for your big kite. For the smaller, probably go with a 11m, although I don't know how much fun you will have if it is blowing into the upper 20's on an 11m... that would be where the 9m would be a blast for you...

I'm your size and here's what I ride. both kite and board.

wind in mph board kite
===========================
08 -14 door 64 20M waroo
15 -18 144 FLX 20M waroo
19 - 23 144 13M or 15M waroo ( if I am at the inlet with current opposing wind, then smaller size)
24 - 30 144 11M waro
30 - 40 144 9M

I have a mix of 08 and 09 waroo's. They can all be flown with the 07 bar, however the 09 bar has a much better swivel system.
