That's a good name for it! We have had good luck the past couple of years with the event during La Nina conditions, but El Nino is typically very fluky, and it lived up to its reputation this year. Of course now the weather pattern has changed and we are forecast to get a multi-day northeaster starting this afternoon!

We tried to plan some SUP activities but there was no participation, so it was truly the Matanzas Halloween Bust. Looks like this was the last year for this event, since there is no support for it here. It was fun while it lasted.

I am still interested in doing some smaller scale course racing events when the conditions permit if anyone is interested? This would be on a local level, and it looks like we will have windy conditions the next week or so. Anyone?

Hey,

I made it to the inlet a little too late. I saw a couple of you out SUP'ing and I decided to run up to Saint Simons and try to catch some wind. I was able to ride my 17 from 3ish till dark. See you all soon and thanks again.
