That rock at Stevenson was almost the end of me!!! East wind- landing my kite on the bank, wind lulled out and my kite rolled down the hill behind the rock and then powered up and nearly dragged me straight into that beast. One of the hardest launch / landing areas i've ever been to. Shawn said beam me up scotty, 7m nuke'n wind, gotta love it. The Gorge is truly awe inspiring.
