Swapping bars /line setup
Hey yo. A long time ago I bought an 07 ROYAL era 14m and wasn't to thrilled about the bar setup. It's got this 5lb quick release on the chicken loop that just drives me freakin crazy. The kite works just fine but I rarely ever ride it because of this uncomfortable bar setup.

Lately another kite of mine has met it's final resting place so I wan to get the old royal out of mothballs and going like way back when.

I've been looking everywhere online and got nothing.

What can I do about this? Not sure if the kite is interchangable. with other bars from other manufacturers or if I can just upgrade to the new stuff ROYAL has ???

best bars work well, you will need to switch the inside bridal attachments on the kite with a pigtail though.

Yep get a best bar. What you don't like that huge chunk of metal swing at your head?

I remember when that thing came out. I tested it at Matanzas, got about 10 feet in the air and POOF, off goes my kite into the inlet...not sure how the kite flew, but I remember the release worked. Except I did not mean to release...
