Can I speak for myself?

Hey there to all. After hearing all the stories about the Forum yesterday and this morning, I decided to have a look myself. Before I get into it, I must say that today was awesome. A bunch of us did two long downwinders today in good surf and great wind (30 plus mph). I am so stoked to be able to do what I love on my days off. Hate the time change, as many of us do..... Heard about what happen to Hayden, hope all is well. We can all learn from this.

This entire imposter thing is getting out of hand. I am not mad at the content of the messege that was written, but please do not pretend to be me... I appreciate the support from the other two people, but it does not need to get out of hand. Lets move on and just do what we all love to do as much as possible. This weeked looks good... Downwinders anyone???? Maybe an Inlet session after... Did I tell you how much I love this sport !!!!!

Oh yea, Slingshot Rules.....

See you all on the water.....

Jimbo

What a day!!! Had a great time riding with The Real Jimbo and the crew. Give it up to Mitchell, who was ready to do a third downwinder when we could barely walk! He is an animal...... Also, we ran across Gal(not sure if I spelled it right), who was comfortably holding down a 15m kite, when I was getting tea bagged on a 10m in the 30mph plus winds! He is also an animal! More wind on Saturday!!!!

Yep, it was quite a day yesterday. Looks like another good one today! By the way, there is a section on the forum for sesh reports, if you want to post under there.

Now what we need is for someone to wear a helmetcam while we are riding so we can post some video on the forum after the sesh!

I'm sure it was a fun downwinder, but someone had to hold down the inlet yesterday. I went out on my 9 at first, but got blown out, so got to fly my new RRD Type 7 7 meter for the first time. It's a great kite. Very stable, turns fast, unreal in the waves. I'd highly recommend the Type 7 for new kiters who want a kite that they can grow into. They don't jump quite as well as the HiR, so if you're more advanced, I'd recommend the HiR.

Gotta go for a downwinder with the crew!

Hey, Save some of that wind for the rest of the week..

I'm coming down from Southport, NC this week to my dad's house on Vilano.

I'm not that good at kiteboarding but I did take lessons over the summer but I had to come back up here to my moms before I could go practice on my own..

Hoping to try it out again this week.

See ya around!
