Wainman Hawaii has come out with their own line of surfboards designed specifically for kiteboarding. These boards are built using epoxy sandwich construction with several layers of denser divinycell to make them super strong, with inserts for straps. They have taken a unique approach in offering each board complete with fins, deck pads, straps, and a board travel bag. The boards look insane, and they have 3 wider shapes in 5'2", 5'8" and 6'0" for lighter wind or small mushy waves, and 4 regular shapes at 5'9", 6'1", 6'3" and 6'5" for getting lit and bigger more powerful surf. Check out their site for more information, and here are some photos:

We just got the first round of Wainman Hawaii kite surfboards in the shop, and they look INSANE. Here are a couple of pics. They come with pads, straps, foiled fiberglass fins with Future fin boxes, and a travel bag.

These boards look really nice. I don't say that about too many epoxy boards. These make a sweet package. Ya have to see em as they look way better than the pics show em.

Don't tempt me! I may just do that.... but I'm riding my Caution surfboard and my DC board until they no longer work...not replacing those any time soon.....

Nice... that takes balls, but what about about those guys on windsurfers? Were they actually dropping in on that wave without hardly any wind? That takes BIG balls if they were....

That'd be crazy, for sure. I can't see that.
But... why were they out there then?

Just picked one up from the shop today! Nice solid feel carrying it, not too light. Also, rails are nice and thin.......looking forward to trying it out. Didn't necessarily need a new board, but wanted to get a slightly smaller board than I currently have for the upcoming Noreasters.
