Daddy (Pat) is still on the Extreme Team but not to the same extent as before. I am now in the shop with Daryl, Kristin and Rob on a daily basis.
As of recently, not too much "new" stuff has arrived in terms of kites, although we are looking forward to the new season and what it has to offer.
We are of course fully stocked with most '06 gear that Pat listed above (inlcuding the Contra Crossbows, Waroos, Answers, Ions, Instincts and other bow/hybrids). I am still pretty amped about those kites. But, I suppose progress is a never ending pursuit, so soon we will be talking about the latest and greatest!
We are in "clearance mode" on alot of the '06 "C" kites, including Fuels, Octanes, RRDs, Rhinos and other Cs as we wait for '07 to bring us new goodies. There are some really good deals on these C kites, btw. I am partial to the RRDs and some of the deals border on steals. (Call us)
A taste of the clearance prices are most easily seen on
www.Kiteoutlet.com and our "specials" area on the main site).
We have had some recent demo opportunities on '07 proto kites, including RRD's hybrid, among others.... but, the Florida winds weren't always cooperative for the testing of 12m kites. Still, after my very small taste of '07, I personally am excited about what these kites have to offer.
We
are expecting some new arrivals in the form of light wind boards in the very near future. I will have more on that soon, let's just say the Extreme Kites logo will be on the board

(Daryl had a big hand in the boards shape) and it should rock in our light winds.
The shop also recently started carrying a line of boards called Skywalkers which have received nothing but positive reviews from our riders.

They seem pretty Fack'n good to me! (skywalker slang)
Eddie has been working on updating our site and it is coming along nicely.
I personally am really enjoying being a part of the team, and as of yet (fingers crossed), have avoided burning down the shop, having a major kitemare "in clear view",or running over Daryl with his jonboat (that was a close one!). It's really great to be here.
When we DO get new kites to play with, trust me, we (including Pat) will be writing about them
