(Monday is an alternate weather day) LOCATION: Whale Harbor, Islamorada, Florida Keys, USA
Mile Marker 83.8 Oceanside EVENTS PLANNED:Kiteboarding - Rails, Racing and Freestyle
Paddleboarding - Fun Paddle, Short Racing, Long Distance
***Paddleboarding is not a "no-wind" alternative. It is full event competition!*** EVENT DIVISIONS: (dependent on number of registrants) Pro (paid/sponsored riders)
Amateur Master (35+)
Amateur Men's (16-34)
Amateur Women's (16-34)
Junior (15 and under) Events on Thurs and Fri add to overall scores to be combined with weekend events - Pig Roasts, Sandbar Parties, Full Moon Party etc...you guys know the drill!

If you have not been to this event, it is one of the best Florida kiteboarding events of the year. Islamorada has ultra-consistent wind in late March, which is why they hold the event at this time. This year with the inclusion of SUP races, the event will be bigger than ever. Even if you don't want to compete, it is a good time to go down and ride, and party in the Florida Keys.

That's a good question? I guess if you were invited you would know.
But seriously, all of the top pros are in this one from this area. In the past guys like Andy Hurdman, Damien Leroy, Alex Fox and and Billy Parker were killing it. Dmitri will probably be there pimping the new Epic Kites. Just cause you are not on the pro invite list does not mean that you can not go down and enjoy the riding and parties. I am sure some of the events are open to everyone as well.
I know that they are also have a full on stand up paddle board event with this one as well this year.

Did anyone go down for the event? Looked like they got skunked most of the weekend, but maybe some wind on Sunday?
