After a great turnout for the first Unreal SUP Challenge on Thanksgiving weekend, the 2nd contest will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at A Street Beach. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Unreal SUP tent just north of the DO NOT ENTER signs at A Street on the beach. In the morning we will hold the SUP surf contest again all the way through the finals. After a quick break for lunch, the SUP Ocean Race will be around 1:30 p.m. Then awards ceremony and an after party will take place at 7:30 p.m. at J.P. Henley's in downtown St. Augustine.

Tell your friends and let's have a great turnout for this fun event. The weather should be nice by then, and with any luck El Nino will throw us a swell! Each participant will get an event t-shirt and eligibility for prizes and a gear raffle at the awards. Forecast looking good for this Saturday's SUP event at A Street on the beach. Swell is forecast to build with increasing NE winds, so we may swap the events and run the ocean race mid-morning to take advantage of incoming tide and rising swell in the afternoon. I was actually hoping for some bump and wind swell to make the event more interesting!

Meet us at 8 a.m. on the beach and we will make the call based on the conditions. Either way be ready to roll at 9 a.m. sharp. Looking forward to a fun day on and off the water!

These water surfing pictures are really awesome. I would love to be the part of next event ( I think this event is over as you mentioned 10th April). Do I need any training before joining you guys ?
