At the expo, we picked up some of Dave's new Light Waves off of him and a bunch of RRDs to lighten their load home.

More boards still coming, but here is a shot of some of them.

It's 5'9" and called the Pro Surf.
I have to upload all this stuff at some point. All the RRD boards look very nice. Daryl was riding the directional right next to it on Monday night.... and now I can't find it in the shop.

Sweet. A surf style board is probably the next board I want to pick up, just for the hell of it.

That is a nice looking board.

It is tri-fin and 2 strap. It is about 18 inches at its widest spot (half way between the two foot straps).

PM for a price quote.
It could be on your couch tomorrow, and in the water soon. :P

...funny we had a great weekend in huge swell. thing is, with all the heavy shore break & blown out sets no one on a surf board was having much fun. we all lamented that no companies are making a surf style twin or a surf board that can be ridden both ways. the rrd board (second one from the photo left) looks like it might be the ticket! daryl mentioned that it can be ridden both ways. looks like the ticket!

Nice looking surfboard!

Does anyone knows the difference with these year RRD surfboards, the wave off program?

Opinions about wave off program?

looks like Jonathan 'stole' my surf style bi-directional! hopefully i'll get to try it soon. i think these bi-directional surf boards are the future for most guys who wanna ride waves. has anyone ridden or even seen slingshot's new bi-directional surf twin tip? is anyone else making anything like that besides Jimmy Lewis's Birchwitch? the Bitchwitch is too small to truly surf on anyway but otherswise a fun board...

NYC - you and I are both on the same page. The hyper was awesome yesterday int the small surf on a twintip. Can't wait to try it with a true surfboard on those light wind / big swell days. Both RRD surf boards look sweet.

How much is the board? I'll be down this weekend and want to stop by the shop for sure.

Leaving Atlanta in the next few hours. Look forward to meeting your crew.

Later.
