Hey boys -

Since there hasn't been wind in 10 days or so (for me anyways), I think I'll start bugging you with "where's the kites??". When, when, when???

A very wind-jonesing Silver Bullet.

Forget about the Switchblades and the complicated bar! Lets talk about a quality kite that will last, and is retailed at over $200 less than the Crossbow, and about $100 less than the Switchblade. Did you fly the Slingshot Turbo Diesel with the ingenius stopper mechanism, during the Halloween Blast? Wow! I thought it turned faster than the Crossbow and about the same as the Switchblade. I hear the kites will possibly be in shops by the beginning of December.......Lets keep our fingers crossed. I know all of us here are waiting patiently! :P

Looks like wind in the near future.... Ride safe everyone......

Hey Popeye -

You're are right, the kites (Switchblade and Turbo Diesel) flew nearly identical. I couldn't tell a difference. However, the stopper ball on the Slling is far superior and ingenious. But December is too far off. The gusty wests are coming, and a December promise on the kites delivery seems optomistic. Kites never seem to come when the manufacturers hope they will. I'm afraid to wait and miss sessions. If it were to roll into Jan. (or later_, I'd be bummed. I can get my 10M SB TODAY, RIGHT DADDY OF SKYE!!! I'm coming your way this weekend and keeping my fingers crossed and my fist closed (with some Big Bens inside, damn kites aint gettin' cheaper...).

With that said, if I had the gumptin to wait, I'd be all over the slingy. That bar is the most killer, makes the whole package much better, to me, blows doors on the cabrinha bar. Plus, word is the slingy's are the toughest, you have to tumble them in the surf just to break 'em in. I buy lots of kites, lets see when they get here.... SB
