Just wanted to let everyone know that we are extremely happy to have Scott Fears join the Extreme Kites Team. He has been here two days so far and is already doing a great job. Scott is from the Tampa/St. Pete area and has been kiting a LONG time. Scott is an awesome rider and brings lots of kiteboarding knowledge to the shop. So far he is also 2 for 2 days of kiting after work. And as always with Extreme Kites, we have done at least 3 to 4 pranks on him per day to welcome him to the team. One of the pictures below shows the old "tie a broken pump to the bottom of your car and let you drive it down the highway" prank. He didn't notice it until he got the beach. Welcome Scott!

I am going to miss Scott over here on the West Side now that you stole him away.

Indeed, Scott has been kiting for a long time. We have an image of Scott kiting back in the early dayz--the image is chiseled into a stone tablet we found in a cave near Tampa Bay, along with some unintelligible dead language. That'z old skool!

Now I'll have to find someone else to set up my kites and wash the Element. Damn it! Daryl does that for me every time I visit St. Augustine, but I need local talent.

Seriously, Scott is a solid rider and a great guy. He has a wealth of kite knowledge and should do well over there. Congrats on a great addition to the store and your local scene.

Don't forget the inflatable doll in the tailpipe, That always gets a big BANG!

BTW Daryl. Scott isn't to mechanicly inclined so you now have plenty of automobile pranks to pull on him.

I have been so busy (and have no computer at the condo) I just got to respond to this. Thanks for all the kind words from everyone, it means alot to me.
I would like to say some things about this shop. First off, Daryl, Kristin, Rob and Pat are the best and sweetest. I have been impressed by all of them immensely. I am very sad to see Pat go. He is an exceptional person first and foremost and a great rider. Trust me, for him to write I am a solid rider was awkward to read after seeing him tear it up. Just goes to show what a nice guy he is

I miss all the guys in St. Pete beyond measure, but every person I have met here has been extremely nice (no surprise to me).
