I almost downgraded the forecast yesterday based on NOAA nuthin's 15 knot forecast, but I left it at 20-25 knots, and I was wrong. It was windier! The pier was gusting into the low 30s mph all afternoon, around 28 knots on the gusts. I tested the new Best Kahoona 11.5 on 22 meter lines with a twin tip, and then surfboard, and was pleasantly surprised. I will say that this is a VERY grunty kite, with a similar feel to a C kite except for turning faster and more depower. But I think I found the top end for the 11.5 yesterday, and I weigh over 200 pounds these days.

Here's a couple of pics that Codder took, and we have some video on the way!

Daryl was riding the 9.5 on Monday afternoon at Matanzas in perfect conditions. Let's see if we can get his 2 cents on the subject?

Peter so far the kites have been awesome and we are really impressed. The general consensus from people so far is that they turn a little slower than the Waroo but that's not true, they just require a little more input just like any other Delta kite. They turn fast. I think you'd be really happy with these kites and can't wait to hear your feedback on them.
More pics and vid on the way!
