So I just got me new Answer 16m last week and it's pretty freakin sweet. I love jumping with that thing.
The other day I went out in 10-12 mph conditions and was having a really hard time staying upwind while others on 16-20m c-kites were doing fine. I was on a 125cm board, but so were the guys on C kites.
Anyone have tips on light wind settings for this kite. I currently have it setup as I got it from extreme kites- stopper balls maxed on either end for full depower, front lines connected to the middle knot on bar, and outside lines are connected to the knot farthest knot away from the kite.
Should I have the kite fully sheeted out when I water start (dive the kite), and not sheet-in until I am up and riding?
Other solutions:
- lose 30lbs
- buy a glide
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Dicky
