I am a relative beginner to the sport and currently have a Best Waroo 16m kite. I seem to have trouble getting it across the window as it feels a bit sluggish and I often sink while waiting for the kite to turn. I a wondering if the Slingshot Turbo 2 14M kite will fly across the window quicker and still provide got power on a light wind day. Any comments on the Slingshot or Waroo are welcome!

16m kites are slow anyway unless you take them out in more wind. What year is your Waroo? I dont think they made a 16 last year or the year before. I think they had 17s and 15s. The SS TD is a kite to avoid. Even reps I spoke to said it sucked! If you want to buy a SS look at the REV. However if your kite is several years old you might try the new Waroo. '09 waroos are much improved over older ones. In fact several people I know have only one 13m waroo as thier quiver.You might be suprised at how good the smaller size works.

Thanks man! Yeah my 16 is a few years old, an '06 I think. I talked to a rider at Real Kiteboarding and he said same as you; the new Waroos fly better and you can get by with a smaller kite in lighter winds. Thanks for the tip on the SS!
