Going down to Puerto Rico. Should be warm with wind and waves. $202 plane ticket round trip out of O-town to Aquadilla. Going down the 17th-25th of Feb. If anyone has any old clothes, stickers, or anything to give the kiddies down there, I'll take donations. Holla if you are down. Could be epic.

I'm hopefully going to make it down to Rincon the 18th to 22nd. Looks like a big swell hitting this weekend but hopefully there will be plenty more to come.

Just got back from a week in PR. No wind forecast but still got 2 days on the 13 meter with perfect overhead surf. Could have had 1 more day with wind from the opposite direction if I had searched around a little.

Not much kiting in Rincon. Good surf though. You can kite Sandy Beach or Aguada if the wind is strong enough. Trades pretty much shut down with El Nino. The Atlantic high pressure is depressed way to the south, so places like Barbados and Margarita are nukin while Puerto Rico enjoys big glassy surf. Bring a bigger board for the waves since there is MUCH more water moving down there than in our little wimpy beach break crap.

I am heading down in mid March...Do you think that getting on a cruise and heading south for the week us the move? I also looked into getting a flight from PR to aruba.

Just got back, didn't bring the kite due to forecast but definitely could have rode 2-3 days with rain squalls. 6 days of solid overhead surf is what the doctor ordered however and was truly epic. Pictures will follow.

Sounds like you caught it similar to what I caught. Except I brought my 13 meter and got to kite a few sessions solo! Not epic by Shacks standards, but still solid surf and some fun wave riding.

Definitely send some pics!
