We might be down in Big Pine Key the week before Xmas. Dec 19th-24th. Just trying to round up a crew, but if it's still warm and windy here we'll stay. Hopefully we don't have to drive 9 hours. But if it's no good here, and windy and warm there, we're on it. Watching the weather!

Come on crew, lets head south. Sick of the cold already and I'm going to the Keys. Dale is heading down with Dillon and his ski, Dawn and I are going Monday and it should be good. Gonna camp a few nights at Big Pine Fishing Lodge. My father n law has a 29 ft Mako to get us near some possible spots also. The forecast is calling for NE to East winds around 15 Knots starting Monday thru the rest of the week. If this holds true it could be a lot of fun. Just got word that theres a private island off Big Pine Key with at least a mile stretch of beach and knee to chest deep blue water that we will be allowed to set up and launch from. Its right south of Little Palm island, and the beach faces east I think. We'll see! Hope its as good as it sounds. Anyways, we'll find something. All I know is its warmer in the Keys. Merry Christmas!!!!!

Am looking to do some flats riding in the Keys and want to bring my Boston Whaler to use as a chase boat. Anybody headed down latter part of June or in July for a long weekend?

Looks like there will be a crew going to Big Pine in Nov. over the Thanks Giving holiday. The place is quiet that time of year in between busy seasons. Any one interested?
